What to expect

I. The Consultation

Once I receive an inquiry from you I usually respond within 24 hours to provide more details and address any questions you might have. We'll schedule a pre-session consultation (via email or phone) on styling, location, and your vision for the session. Together, we'll craft a session that perfectly suits your needs. Choose from an outdoor location, the comfort of your own home or a rental studio

II. Outfit Curation

Once you book, you'll get access to my curated Client Wardrobe of many dresses (XS–XXL) with a range of bump-friendly options. Choose your favorites from my online catalog, and I’ll have them prepped for you. We’ll do a quick try-on before your session—either on location or at your home/studio. You’ll also receive a style and prep guide, along with a personalized style board to help coordinate your whole family’s look beautifully.

III. Your Session

During your session I want you to be as you are and just enjoy eachother. I will gently prompt you to capture the beauty and individuality of your family. Snuggle your babies, explore the nature around you and give all the kisses! Don't stress if the kids aren't perfect, whose are? We will still get beautiful shots

IV. Image Delivery

Within weeks after our time together you will receive your high resolution digital photos via an online gallery to download. Through here you will also be able to order prints, frames, canvases, etc. I create the custom albums so if you are interested in one after receiving your photos just send an email my way and we will start that process of designing your beautiful album full of your cherished images.

The First Year Collection

No need to worry! Babies have their own schedules, and I understand they may need to be fed or changed during the session. We’ll take breaks to attend to your baby’s needs, ensuring they’re comfortable and content throughout the session..

What if my baby needs to be fed or changed during the session?

Before your session, we'll collaborate to find the optimal shooting time in your home. About a week beforehand, I'll reach out to determine when your rooms are brightest. Simply send me photos at specific times of day, focusing on bright, indirect light. Together, we'll pinpoint the ideal time for your session.

What is the best time to schedule in home newborn photo session?

For on location sessions, I have a location guide which I will provide to you after booking. From the location guide you can select which location works best for you. I prefer to schedule on location shoots to take place about 1 hour or less before sunset. The location guide includes photos of the location as well as helpful information to know (like how much walking is included).

When and where the photo session will take place?

I recommend reserving your session as soon as you know you want to have one. Creative editing takes about two weeks, so if you are reserving a session for a specific date or holiday and want your photos returned to you by a certain date, so it's a good idea to plan for that!

When should I schedule my session?

Yes, your online gallery is also connected to a lab where you can easily order your prints and albums to your taste. I will be more than happy to help customize some tangible products with your favorite photos. 

Do you offer prints or albums?

Once your gallery is ready I'll send you an email with the link to your private online gallery and the instructions how to download your images. The photos are all watermarked and resized but once you download your photos they will be high resolution images.
